Think about it: what impacts your everyday enjoyment of your computer more than the screen? Spend money on a good screen. I was an LCD display engineer at Motorola for a few years, so I know LCD's. Before I bought this LCD I looked at about a dozen different brands comparing color, contrast, brightness...etc. I've been EXTREMELY impressed with this VP191s monitor that I bought. Also, with the VP series monitors, you can run High-Def TV on many of them. Also, CRT's ruin your eyes. I used to work 12 hour days as an engineer on a big CRT.
