JAZZCASH ACCOUNT

JazzCash account is a branchless bank account licensed under the State Bank of Pakistan's branchless banking regulations. This account is linked with your CNIC and mobile number. With JazzCash account, you can enjoy complete freedom of accessing financial services anywhere, anytime.

Any customer whether postpaid or prepaid with a valid NADRA CNIC can sign up for a JazzCash Account.

You can register for a JazzCash account from the following sources:

  • Download JazzCash mobile app from Play Store or Apple Store and register your account in few simple steps; or
  • If you are a Jazz user, you can register an account by dialing *786#; or
  • Go to any nearby JazzCash Agent and get your get registered through our agents

Upon successful registration, you can access JazzCash account menu through JazzCash Mobile App or customer can dial *786# and enter their desired 4-digit MPIN. All transactions made from JazzCash account are secured with this 4-digit MPIN. If you ever forget your MPIN, please call to reset your MPIN.

No tax is applicable on depositing into your JazzCash account.

Transaction will be processed instantly

You can transfer funds through inter-bank fund transfer option. Simply visit that bank's online banking portal, select Mobilink Microfinance Bank, enter your registered JazzCash mobile number as your account number and enter the amount you wish to transfer.

Yes, you can transfer money from your JazzCash account to any bank account by:

  • Opening your JazzCash app, select &#;Send Money&#;, then select &#;Bank&#; option and choose your required bank name; or
  • Dial *786*1*3#, select your required bank.

JazzCash account encompasses the highest level of security. We follow regulations of the State Bank of Pakistan. Each JazzCash account has a 4-digit secret MPIN code which is required for each transaction.

All transactions from the JazzCash account are encrypted for security purposes. No transaction can be made without this MPIN which has to be entered from your Mobile number. Therefore, please make sure that you setup a secure MPIN and never disclose it to anyone.

In case you forget your MPIN, simply click on 'Forgot MPIN' and authorize this action by entering your CNIC and Date of Birth. You will receive a 4-digit temporary MPIN through SMS, use it to create your new 4-digit MPIN. You can also call us at 051-111-124-444 to reset your MPIN. *786*6*1*2# If you forget your MPIN, you can reset it by the following methods:

  • Open JazzCash app, simply click on &#;Forgot MPIN&#;. After entering your CNIC number & Date of Birth, you will receive a 4-digit temporary MPIN through SMS, which you can use to create your new 4-digit MPIN; or
  • Dial *786*6*1*2# and reset your MPIN; or
  • Call us at our helpline (if you are a Jazz customer) or our UAN number 111-124-444 (with area code) to reset your MPIN.

If you lose your mobile device, your JazzCash account will remain secure with the help of your 4-digit MPIN. If you feel the need to block your account after losing your device, you can call us at 051-111-124-444. Please note that JazzCash will never ask you for any sensitive information like your MPIN or OTP via , SMS or . Please do not share this information with anyone to keep your account secure.

No, registration requires the account holder to have a valid CNIC.

No, only one JazzCash account can be opened on one CNIC.

Yes, transaction limits are applicable according to the level of your JazzCash account. You can check your account limits via any of the following:

  • Dial the following dial code: *786*6*9#; or
  • Call us at (if you are a Jazz customer) or our UAN number 111-124-444 (with area code) from your registered mobile number.

Yes, you can pay utility bills of any amount from your JazzCash account.

Yes, you can keep money in your JazzCash account for as long as you want to.

Yes, you can pay bills of other people from your JazzCash account.

Yes, you can pay postpaid bills of other people from your JazzCash account.

Yes, you can buy Prepaid Load for other people from your JazzCash account.

No, this is not allowed. You need to request closure of your account.

You will have to close your JazzCash account to port-out your Jazz number.

Yes, you can open JazzCash account on ported-in number to Jazz.

If you don&#;t use your JazzCash account for a period of 12 constant months, your account will be temporarily blocked. In order to reactivate your account, please call where you will be verified as its user and your account will be restored instantly.

No, there are no annual fees to use the JazzCash account.

Yes, the account holder will receive a confirmation SMS after the transaction is complete. It is completely secure, the system checks and records every transaction through a computerized system.

Refund request can only be made if funds have been transferred to a CNIC and the transaction is still uncollected by the receiver. Please call helpline and provide Transaction ID (TID) provided in transaction SMS and request for a reversal. Reversal will be processed within 4 working hours after verification.

Your JazzCash Account MPIN and ATM PIN are separate; do not use your JazzCash Account MPIN to attempt a withdrawal from ATM. After purchasing ATM Card, you have to setup your JazzCash ATM PIN from your JazzCash menu under &#;My Account&#;.

You need to call helpline, after verification you will be able to change your card PIN.

No. There are no monthly or annual charges on using your JazzCash ATM Card. For PayPak debit card annual fees of Rs.299.

MONEY TRANSFER THROUGH JAZZCASH AGENT

Sender or receiver does not need to register for this service.

The customers should preferably provide their own mobile number, they will receive SMS notification which will contain the transaction ID (TID) which will be used for receiving the transaction.

Any person can make a money transfer transaction and send money to another person. The only requirement is that both sender and receiver should hold a valid Nadra CNIC, and photocopies of their CNICs along with original.

Money transfer requests sending and receiving both would not be entertained for expired or lost CNIC&#;s. Only original and valid CNIC will be accepted.

You can send or receive money from the following ways:

  • Through JazzCash app; or
  • Dial *786#; or
  • Visit nearest retailer.

Money transfer sending or receiving is done instantly.

SMS notifications will be sent to the sender and the receiver at the time money is sent and collected.

The receiving customer must collect the transaction within 180 days. As per regulations, all transaction uncollected for longer than 180 days will be blocked.

The transaction ID is in the SMS notification sent to the sender and the receiver. Additionally, if the customer has forgotten his transaction ID, he/she may obtain it by calling our helpline 021-111-124-444.

The customer should ensure that the numbers mentioned on the money transfer receipt are correct. He should then call the helpline and after verification, the call center agent will confirm the transaction status.

BILL PAYMENT THROUGH JAZZCASH AGENT

Paying your bill through JazzCash bill payment service is very easy. Bring your bill and the required amount of cash to any of our retailers. Ask the retailer/shop keeper to pay your bill through JazzCash bill payment service. If you use any mobile service, give the retailer your mobile number to receive a confirmation SMS. On completion of the payment, collect the stamped bill, which carries the transaction ID and agent ID. If you have a mobile , don&#;t forget to check that you have received a confirmation message. If you do not have a mobile , check the confirmation message on the mobile of the Agent.

Yes. Anyone can pay their utility bills by following the process mentioned above.

Any Jazz or non-Jazz subscriber or non-mobile user can pay their utility bills from any JazzCash retailer on any day of the week with no restriction of conventional time schedule of 9 am to 5 pm.

Following could be the reasons you are unable to pay your utility bills via JazzCash:

  1. The bill is already paid.
  2. You are entering an incorrect input (Consumer number/Reference number/Account number etc).
  3. You have insufficient funds in your JazzCash account.
  4. There is a technical issue at the server. In this case, please re-try after a while.

JazzCash is a fully automated system: The bill payment system checks and records every transaction through a computerized system.

Automatic and instant payment: Your bill is paid in real time through our JazzCash bill payment system and a unique transaction ID is generated which is proof of bill payment.

Instant notification on your mobile: The bill payment system sends an instant payment acknowledgement through a confirmation text to your mobile to confirm that your payment has been received accurately.
